USING PDF DOCUMENTS

How to send a copy of a contract signed by you electronically via email with no printing, scanning, of faxing: 

How do you accomplish this? This is very easy to do. After you sign the PDF on your computer (click here to view these instructions directly on the Adobe website) - you should click "done signing". The PDF will then ask you if you want to email your signed document at this time (and if you say "yes" to this your computer will use your default email to do so) in time or you may alternatively by clicking the option to save it to your desktop as a PDF and then proceed to email it as an attachment with your chosen default / choice email using your phone's personal hotspot. This is very helpful to satisfy the requirements of sending contracts without delays and providing copies to all parties -- including Go Motors, LLC (all copies of contracts should be submitted to Go Motors, LLC, LLC immediately after signing or as soon as possible to info@Go Motors, LLC.com and to other interested parties you are working with). 

If you have internet hotspot capability on your phone (which we highly recommend) this makes it even easier when you are not home and/or where there is WIFI! Simply link your computer to your phone and send the email located on your desktop once you are on the internet hotspot. It is that easy! 

Why use a PDF document to fill in information and sign electronically? 
PDFs are indispensable tools and Adobe allows free and easy use and access to them for everyone. PDF documents have many uses. Often, consumers and sales agents do not use the features of PDF documents in conjunction with the Free Adobe Reader software Adobe allows everyone to use at no cost to their advantage. Adobe, the leader in state-of-the-art information technology, is constantly updating Adobe Reader and because of this you should always make sure you update your computer's Adobe Reader often - this applies to all platform users (Macs, PCs, etc.). Often, recipients merely print out the PDF forms, fill them in by hand with a pen, scan and/or fax the filled in forms. This creates a great deal amount more work than is required or necessary. Furthermore, use of Adobe's PDF features allows your transaction to occur when both or all parties necessary to execute a document are not together but, rather, remotely and separately from the convenience of your own living room, etc. (in example, you may be at home and your sales agent may be in his/her office and your sales agent needs you to sign something as soon as possible). How do you sign PDF documents either online or on your computer without printing the document? This is very easy and your sales agent and/or dealer has directed you to this training module to assist you step by step in doing so.

Option 2: Sign Your PDF Directly on Your Laptop/Computer
You may also follow these easy-to-follow PDF instructions below to sign your PDF document directly from your computer, save it to your desktop/folder on your desktop and then send it via email attachment.

To begin, please make sure you have the most up-to-date Adobe Reader downloaded to your computer. This is free and easy to do. To do so, please copy and paste this URL to browser's address bar:

and/or you may click here to go there directly there. This is the URL to download the most up-to-date Adobe Reader to your computer. 

After downloading and installing the most up-to-date Adobe Reader to your computer you are now ready to begin signing your downloaded PDF document(s). PLEASE ALSO NOTE: in some instances you may need to or be directed to type in your initials in some documents in various parts of the document(s). If this is the case you would merely create and sign your initials the same way you would your signature and follow these procedures below for placing those initials. It is even acceptable to just utilize your whole signature instead of your initials to save yourself the steps of creating both initials and and a signature. Here are the directions for both: 

• If you were sent your PDF document via email or opened it on a URL otherwise it is important you download and save the PDF to your desktop/laptop first. Some of the features of the PDF will not work unless you download and save it to your computer first. 
• After downloading and saving the PDF document to your computer open the PDF document on your desktop wherever you save it. On the top of the PDF document on the right top margin you will notice three options - TOOLS, SIGN, COMMENT. Please click on the "SIGN" option. 
• Once you click on this option a side menu will open entitled "I need to sign" at top.
• Click the "Place Signature" option under this menu
• Another menu will open. That menu will have the options: "ADD TEXT, PLACE SIGNATURE, and another option not yet available "SEND SIGNED DOCUMENT" (after you sign the document this option will be available to you". 
• If you would like to fill in the document with text or information you may now choose (and it is important to note this must be done before you choose to sign) "ADD TEXT" to begin the signature process. To do so, simply click the "ADD TEXT" option. After doing so, move your cursor over the document and place and click your cursor where you want to insert text. At this time you will see a menu on top appear called "ADD TEXT" and your cursor placement will also blink where you inserted it on the document. The cursor is now ready to insert text when you begin typing. To style your text as you desire --- using the "ADD TEXT" menu up top you may choose to change the font, size, and style of the text on the top "ADD TEXT" menu as you prefer or just begin typing with Adobe's default style/size font. Type in the text where you want it throughout the document. After inserting the text you can block highlight text to make it fit better, change the size/style of that text after typing it in, or stylize it more with the 'ADD TEXT" menu - with the PDF there is a lot of nice features to "tidy up" the document after you fill in the text. When you are done inserting your text into the document you may now sign it. Please Note: Security features on the Adobe PDF require all text be inserted PRIOR to the signing of the document. After you proceed with the next step of signing the document you will no longer have the ability to insert text after finalizing the signing of it. Furthermore, after you sign and send your document to other recipients -- those recipients will have the ability to add text and sign it themselves (after following the above instructions). However, they will not be able to change your text or signature as it was when they received the document, downloaded and saved it - for security reasons. The security features of the PDF will only allow them to add their own text and sign it themselves using and adhering to the above instructions. 
• To sign your document click on the "PLACE SIGNATURE" on the "I NEED TO SIGN" menu on the top right menu of the document located just below the "ADD TEXT" option. Please note: If there is a little arrow to the right of the "PLACE SIGNATURE" option - this is because Adobe has a signature you used for a previous document stored. At this time you may either choose to 'CLEAR SAVED SIGNATURE" (by clicking on the small arrow and selecting that option) or proceed with using the stored signature by simply moving your cursor over the document to where you want to sign it. When you do this you will notice your signature will float with the cursor until you click on the signature line --- at which time it will be stamped on the signature line. If you mistakenly place the signature where it you do not want it you can highlight it and delete it by using the backspace key and then replace it where you do want it using the directions above. On the other hand if there is no saved signature you will simply click on the "PLACE SIGNATURE" option in the top right menu "I NEED TO SIGN" menu. After you do select this option another menu and dialogue box will automatically open titled "PLACE SIGNATURE". Within this box you may select one of three options under the "HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO CREATE YOUR SIGNATURE" menu. The default option will be 'TYPE MY SIGNATURE". However, if you click on the arrow key to the right of that option the menu will appear and you will have three options - all discussed below. You may choose any option you would like. Any option you choose will be acceptable. The important aspect of this is to choose the option you are most comfortable with. The options and procedures for following them are as follows (PLEASE ALSO NOTE: in some instances you may need to type in your initials in some documents in various parts of the documents. If this is the case you would merely sign your initials the same way you would and follow these procedures below for placing those initials): 
• for your name in the text box and using the right arrow choose your method for signing: 
• Type my signature (also can be used for your initials): This often seems the easiest choice. You simply type in your signature in the field below "TYPE MY SIGNATURE" option entitled "ENTER YOUR NAME". When you begin typing in your signature you will notice it will immediately appear in the "REVIEW YOUR SIGNATURE" space below it. If you would like you may also use the 'CHANGE SIGNATURE STYLE (1 of 3)" option to change the font/style of your signature. Adobe generally has one of three fonts to change the signature style. Once you are done and your signature is the way you would like it to be you can then use your cursor to press "ACCEPT" and you can then should begin to sign by moving your cursor to the place on the document and left click on your mouse where you want your signature to be inserted. If you must initial areas of the document you can also use this feature. When you do this Adobe will outline it with selection brackets around it. You may use those brackets by placing your cursor arrow inside the bracket boxes. When you do this you will see an arrow appear and you may manipulate that signature to become smaller, larger, tilted, to move it, etc. We recommend playing around with it a bit to see how the feature works. The same applies for the other methods mentioned below - you may use the highlight brackets for any signature you draw or place to do this. Once you click on any other areas of the document the brackets will disappear. You can also make them reappear by double clicking on the signature again and begin the whole editing the signature style process again. 
• Draw my signature: This option will open a box where you can use a stylus or your finger to physically draw your signature. It may take several tries as it is not as easy as using a pen in your hand and often signers say it is a bit awkward to get used to - but with a little practice it can be done. After you draw what you consider to be an acceptable signature follow the prompts in the "PLACE SIGNATURE" menu and then use the mouse to insert the saved drawn signature to the signature line by placing your cursor on that line and left clicking the mouse. After doing this, you will see your signature placed on that line and may proceed with the same editing features mentioned above for "DRAW MY SIGNATURE" and further placement by left clicking where you would like your signature and/or initials to be placed throughout the document.. 
• Use an image for my signature: This is best achieved by taking a picture of your signature, saving it to your desktop and then uploading it with the prompts. After you upload your signature follow the prompts and then use the mouse to insert the saved image signature to the signature line by placing your cursor on that line and left clicking the mouse. After this has been done, you will view your signature placed on that chosen line. After doing this, you will see your signature placed on that line and may also proceed with the same editing features mentioned above for "DRAW MY SIGNATURE" and further placement by left clicking where you would like your signature and/or initials to be placed throughout the document.
• When you are done signing your PDF with whatever choice you use above - click on "Done Signing" button and follow the prompts. If you choose not to send your document at that time - you can save the PDF signed to your desktop and merely attach it to an email and send it as an attachment.
