Arms' Length Independent Inspections: Our Policies

You don't know us. . . we don't know you. Sometimes an arms' length inspection is really very helpful, we understand and we encourage this. At Go Motors LLC we help make that happen.However, we've taken the time to give you some guidance on what we can do to facilitate this.

If you are considering a purchase at Go Motors LLC: first we want to say thank you! If you would like to have your vehicle inspected by a mechanic of your choosing we will help and we thank you for following some very reasonable 'guidelines' we have on how to go about doing this easily.

Here are those guidelines and we hope they help:

Please bear in mind often vehicles are being shown with appointments actively day in and day out - often, many appts were made in advance and to get your vehicle to your shop we also must have   staff available on the right day and time to valet your vehicle where it needs to go, wait at the appointment, etc. -- which we are happy to do for you as a courtesy.  That said, we ask our customers seeking an arms' length independent inspection to follow some guidelines to help you, your mechanic who is taking a look at your potential next vehicle, and to help our staff who will be valeting the vehicle for you to that mechanic (and sitting and waiting for the appt to be completed so they can valet the vehicle back to our shop). Here they are:

Arms' length means you choose the mechanic, that's important. However, we ask you to keep your choice limited to a licensed and insured repair shop / mechanic locally and if we feel there might be an issue we may decline to transport the vehicle. The request to have the vehicle valeted somewhere of your choosing must be reasonable distance among other considerations. Please be advised we reserve the right to not transport a vehicle if we feel this or any other concerns are an issue. Transporting a vehicle a long distance is not something we can do unfortunately. First and foremost we also ask that the vehicle have an appointment that is not 'all day' and be limited to no more than 30 minutes which is sufficient time for any inspection. The reason for this is our staff will valet the vehicle and wait at the repair shop until the inspection is completed. If you are having trouble with this please give us a call.

Please call us at (860) 839-2518 to confirm with us where your vehicle will be going to as well as the time and we will confirm if we can get the vehicle there at that day and time. We recommend doing this in advance of the appt. These appointments are subject to: the availability of our staff to deliver the vehicle and that our schedule is permitting overall so there may be some collaborating a bit on time and day with that in mind but with a little collaboration we'll get it done! We thank you for your patience.  

Next, provided we have agreed on a day and time please be sure to pay your mechanic in advance, prior to the day of your appointment and have him/her give us a call or email us at GoMotors@ProtonMail.me to confirm they are ready for the appointment. Once we have that confirmation we will see your mechanic on the day and time we all agreed to.

Go Motors can register your car or transfer your plates from your old vehicle to your new vehicle the same day you purchase for in-state customers. For out of state customers we can provide you with temporary plates for 30 days provided you have a valid out of state drivers license and an insurance card with the year, make, and vin number as well as correct effective and expiration dates at the time of issuance of your temporary plates. PLEASE NOTE: We like to take pics in several different light at different times of the day: early morning / sunrise, mid-day, and evening. We often feel that these subtle differences give buyers perspective of the appearance of some of our vehicles and the variations in color and light may help buyer see what the vehicle looks like all in all. All is aimed to help buyers “see” the vehicle as much as possible in different light before coming out to test ride it.
